Information
This German Oompah Band has performed all over the country, entertaining audiences with Foot Stamping Marches, Traditional Waltzes and more contemporary pieces like Sweet Caroline, Take Me Home Country Roads, and Living on a Prayer all performed in an Oompah style.
The group enjoy performing Ein Prost as it means they can refill their glasses and get on with playing all the fun games with the audience. These include “Mummies and Daddies”, “The Long Note Competition” on a 400 Year old Euphonium, the Linkenbach Limbo and win prizes with the Pretzel Run.
Join in with the Kazoo Choir and the Hamburg Hawaii relay. There are Drinking Games and Polkas galore. Sometimes we even play the old German Favourite, “Sit on my Sausage” which is highly entertaining for everyone.
The band are happy to play either inside or outside but we do prefer a fairly large performing area so everyone can enjoy the fun. Usually around six foot is enough between us and you.
All members wear traditional German Laderhosen which can get very toasty for Summer gigs but keep everyone nice and warm for those Octoberfest events.
All the equipment used is legally PAT tested, and the band are fully covered with liability insurance.
Set up usually takes around thirty minutes with the same time to take everything down and pack in the Band Bus ready for the next gig.
The band usually play for Two 45 minute Sets but this can flexible to the clients needs, as every gig is different.
